I am fortunate enough too have been aboard the USS Ranger CVA-61 during the ’70’s wars 🇺🇸
We did not have 6 shooters nor nor bolt action rifles with bayonets We had full blown auto 20 milometer cannons with sidewinder and phoenix missals ❗️

The places they used in WWI are scary. I can’t imagine being in one and having someone shooting at me
