You got the nature of Facebook down correctly! I recently expressed a simple opinion on Facebook that went contrary to another person’s opinion. You know, I found the Gibson movie about the crucifixion of Jesus needlessly bloody and characterized it as “torture porn”. Before the exchange was over, I blocked the fellow who disagreed with me. His responses to me were patronizing (“…Palm Sunder (the week before Easter…)” – as if a 75-year-old Presbyterian would be ignorant about that! and they had an air of “holier than thou” that some Christians have that I find not quite in the spirit of that faith, where Christ himself was a humble man. So much for that! Facebook characters like that one just get blocked by me. Who needs attitude?
I had a couple fb ‘friends’ I could not tolerate 60 yrs ago, I don’t know why I friended them on fb. I got really tired of all their ‘tracking’… I was tripping over them everywhere I went on the WWW ❗️
It took me several days to delete all my posts and comments history before closing my account 😉
I had some that moved over from FB from daily booth when it was closing down who were insufferable at last and who I eventually had to block, their personalities were so toxic.
The one that was displayed when I looked showed walls with dream catchers, feathers,skulls and other artifact type totems. Beautiful things beautifully displayed.
