I got that mess sorted ๐Ÿ˜‰

๐•‹๐•™๐•–๐•Ÿ at 2PM during my nap I awaken to what I thought was was ‘rolling thunder’ โšก๏ธ

It was a Polished agate, missed during the ‘pick up’, being used as a hockey puckย  by Emmy Louย  ๐Ÿ˜ธ

Third stage of (pre polish) silicon carbide, waiting for fourth stage of (polish) aluminum oxide … Lapis Lazuli

  1. I polished the Petoskey stones I have by hand. Finished them off with baby oil. I am particularly fond of them because I picked them up on the shore with my dear friend 20 years ago. Iโ€™ll look for a good report from you.

  2. I share your appreciation for the beauty of rocks. Iโ€™ve only polished Petoskey stones from Michiganโ€™s lower peninsula, though.

    2. Susan: I found 2 pounds of Petoskey, Michigan’s state rock from a dealer in Wyoming. They will ship to me in a few days. I am excited to see how they turn out. Them being mohs hardness of only 3 I will be careful and start on #3 grit โ—๏ธ ~Willy
