It was a Polished agate, missed during the ‘pick up’, being used as a hockey puckย by Emmy Louย ๐ธ

I tried tumbling some then shined up a little with ‘Turtle’ car wax & was not happy. They look prettiest wet with Lake Michigan water โ๏ธ ๐

I polished the Petoskey stones I have by hand. Finished them off with baby oil. I am particularly fond of them because I picked them up on the shore with my dear friend 20 years ago. Iโll look for a good report from you.

I share your appreciation for the beauty of rocks. Iโve only polished Petoskey stones from Michiganโs lower peninsula, though.

Susan: I found 2 pounds of Petoskey, Michigan’s state rock from a dealer in Wyoming. They will ship to me in a few days. I am excited to see how they turn out. Them being mohs hardness of only 3 I will be careful and start on #3 grit โ๏ธ ~Willy
