Yes, those calls are distressing! I routinely block the numbers as they try yet another to try to sell me their stuff. That’s a waste of my time, it seems, because if one number doesn’t work, they use a new, unblocked one! that 20 times a day business doesn’t make me any more likely to answer the phone, and I have ignored calls that I’d actually answer – from friends – because I just ignore calls this time of year because they mostly are Medicare plan sales pitches. To think I dropped my landline because of the few times I’d get up to answer what turned out to be a robocall! The number of unwanted calls I get on my smartphone is hundreds of times worser, no exaggeration!
