𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕟 at 2PM during my nap I awaken to what I thought was was ‘rolling thunder’ ⚡️
It was a Polished agate, missed during the ‘pick up’, being used as a hockey puck by Emmy Lou 😸
Third stage of (pre polish) silicon carbide, waiting for fourth stage of (polish) aluminum oxide … Lapis Lazuli


It was probably about the perfect size for her. 😸

I share your appreciation for the beauty of rocks. I’ve only polished Petoskey stones from Michigan’s lower peninsula, though.

Susan: I found 2 pounds of Petoskey, Michigan’s state rock from a dealer in Wyoming. They will ship to me in a few days. I am excited to see how they turn out. Them being mohs hardness of only 3 I will be careful and start on #3 grit ❗️ ~Willy

I polished the Petoskey stones I have by hand. Finished them off with baby oil. I am particularly fond of them because I picked them up on the shore with my dear friend 20 years ago. I’ll look for a good report from you.
