That is when you know spring is coming in Iowa… The daffodils start blooming. I have a couple in my yard but can never plant tulips because the squirrels dig them up as soon as they are planted!
I keep a hockey stick near my back door to deter squirrels from doing any gardening, more discreet out front I keep a broom ball broom propped up next to the mail box ❗️ they keep trying to cultivate walnut trees in the garden and flower boxes 🐾
