We had 80 to 100 mile an hour winds today at 11 oโclockโฆ Lots of trees are down. I still donโt have electricityโฆ I have left for candles and have three flashlights. I hate the thought of spending the night in the dark

Wow โ๏ธ I would have to strap a boat anchor to my butt with gale force winds. I’d be lost with no power, I just wind up the radio a few cranks and take a nap ๐ They put in new poles and lines & trimmed the trees on my street 5 yrs ago so black outs happen less often. Every now and then a squirrel crawls up on the high leg of a transformer and it sounds like a stick of dynamite when it blows โ๏ธI bet you have never had to cleaned squirrel goo of your front window ๐
I have surge suppressors and lightning arrestor to protect my electronics however the TVA utility did cause the death of my 2007 RCA 38 inch. Going without TV for a month is worse then going without electricity for a few hours ๐
๐ฒ2500 for a generator just isn’t worth it. ๐๐ฅ๐๐ช ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ ~Willy
