Yes! I remember it was three shots. I did OK the first one, a bit less well the next time, and bawled on the third one. My mother bought me a toy after the third one. LOL!
That TB test too where they stuck ya just under the skin 💉 and wiggled the needle around then looked at it a couple days later to see if + or – . I remember one oral that came on a sugar cube in 7th grd (’67) Now it’s a flu shot cocktail yearly at the VAMC 🇺🇸
I get the one annually for sure. I get that flu shot annually, too, at dialysis. The sugar cube vaccine was the Sabin polio vaccine. I remember getting that one and the three-shot Salk vaccine.
Considering our current progress with this epidemic it might need to be on top to get peoples attention. Not exactly what I would call a leadership role.
The quarantine flag, also called the “Yellow Jack” 
I remember red quarantine noticed posted on doors of homes experiencing contagious diseases. That was a common 1950s thing.
